What changes in 2027-28, and what does not
Single game prices will move with demand from the 2027-28 season. Season tickets and Beacon Society seats are not part of it. Six months notice, on purpose.
Beginning with the 2027-28 season, single game ticket prices at Jacobsen Stadium and The Beacon will move with demand. Nothing changes this season. Nothing changes about this season's basketball tickets, which are on sale at the published prices on this site.
We are saying this now, six months before anyone has to think about it, because the worst version of this is the one where people find out at the point of sale.
What it means
A single game ticket to a Saturday in November and a single game ticket to a Tuesday in January are not the same product, and they have been sold as though they were. From 2027-28 they will not be. Prices will start from the published price and move up or down from there depending on the date, the opponent and how much of the building is left.
What does not change
Season tickets do not move with the model. If you hold a season ticket, your renewal is a season ticket price, set once, printed, and the same in November as it is in January.
Beacon Society seats do not move with the model. Required giving, priority points and everything attached to them are unchanged by this.
Student seats stay free with a Rockbeach ID, as they have been: The Lighthouse at Jacobsen Stadium and the Student Section at The Beacon.
Will it cost more
Some games will cost more than the printed price and some will cost less. Across a season, in every department that has done this, the movement is smaller than people expect and it runs in both directions. The games where it moves most are the ones where the building was going to be full anyway.
There is a fuller list of questions and answers beside the prices, and it will grow as people ask. If your question is not on it, the ticket office would rather you called.
