Ten levels, and the benefits are cumulative — each one adds to everything below it. Membership runs with the fiscal year.

Eligible is not the same as assigned. Premium seating and the priority lots are allocated by points at the reallocation each May, and a gift made mid-year does not move anyone in that order.

How priority points work

The formula

Priority points: philanthropic gifts earn ten points per $100 and seat-related giving one point per $100; season tickets earn two points per sport for every year held; every ten consecutive years adds twenty-five; and every year philanthropic gifts reach $2,500 adds one hundred. Points buy your PLACE IN THE SELECTION ORDER at the May reallocation. They do not buy a seat.

What you doPointsFor example
Philanthropic gifts
Gifts not tied to seats: scholarships, facilities, the annual fund
10 per $100A $1,000 gift earns 100 points.
Seat-related giving
The required giving on season seats, suites and parking
1 per $100$1,000 of required giving earns 10 points.
Season tickets
Each sport counted on its own
2 per sport, every year heldFootball and men’s basketball for 5 years earns 20 points.
Loyalty
Consecutive years holding season tickets
25 for every 10 years in a row20 straight years earns 50 points.
A big giving year
Philanthropic gifts only
+100 each year they total $2,500+Four years at $3,000 in gifts earns 400 points.

Same money, two ways. Football for 12 years and men’s basketball for 5, twelve straight years, and $24,000 given: all of it as required giving on seats is 299 points. Give half of it as gifts instead, $3,000 a year for four years, and it is 1,779 points. The ticket price itself earns nothing; holding season tickets does.

Rockbeach counts a multi-year pledge at its annual amount from the year it is signed, before the cash arrives - a $500,000 commitment over ten years counts as $50,000 of giving a year. Most schools do this; some count only cash received, so never assume another school works the way we do.
