Mike "Tiny Mike" Roffulo

Mike Roffulo is Rockbeach's Associate AD of Human Success, and the title is deliberate. "It is about helping the human, not just their muscles," he says, and the athletes who still call him at two in the morning, some a decade after graduating, would agree. He runs the Whitecaps performance facility, serving all twenty varsity programs, and gives its tours himself. A Bethlehem, Pennsylvania native, Roffulo played tight end at Boldt University, a Division Two program, as a blocking tight end who caught eleven passes in four years and was proud of every block. He came up through strength and conditioning and spent years at a major Division One program before Rockbeach. Barrel-chested, he has answered to "Tiny Mike" since college, when it was already a joke. He is married to the chef Beth Porterhouse and has two children. At the shore he built a gym called The Swole, and hands out keys to it without ceremony.
