Terms of Service
Version 0.3 · 8 September 2026 · Rockbeach, LLC
The agreement between you and Rockbeach, LLC for Rockbeach Training. Plain words on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask rather than guess.
Who you are agreeing with
Rockbeach, LLC operates Rockbeach Training at rockbeachtraining.com. In this document "Rockbeach", "we" and "us" mean Rockbeach, LLC. "You" means the person using the service.
Rockbeach, LLC also operates Rockbeach Currents, a separate product sold to athletic departments. Where the two share information is set out in the Privacy Policy.
What Rockbeach Training is
A sales training course for people who want to work, or already work, in ticket sales for college and professional sports. It contains written material, practice scenarios, a simulated ticketing system, exams, and a certificate for those who pass the certification exam at the required mark.
It is training. It is not a job, a placement service, or a guarantee of employment.
You must be 18 or over
Accounts are for people aged 18 and over. Signup asks your date of birth and refuses anyone under 18 without storing what they typed.
If you are under 18 and hold an account, tell us and we will close it.
Your account is yours alone
You sign in with your email address and a password, or with Google. Keep the password to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has it. Work done under your sign-in is treated as your work.
Some people were given an access code before passwords existed, and a trainer can still issue one to somebody who is locked out. A code is a one-time key that sets a password and then stops working. Treat one like a password for as long as you hold it.
One account is one person. Do not create an account for somebody else or take an exam on somebody else's behalf.
What you may not do
Do not copy, republish or resell the course material, the questions, the scenarios or the exams. Do not attempt to extract the question bank. Do not use the service to break the law or to harass anybody.
Do not misrepresent a Rockbeach certificate, including claiming a certificate you did not earn or a score you did not achieve. Every certificate carries a code that anybody can check.
The community board
The board inside the product is written by other people using it. What they post is theirs, not ours, and nothing on it is an official Rockbeach position, including anything that reads like one.
You post under a handle. The handle is claimed once and cannot be changed. Rockbeach trainers can see which account is behind a handle; other members cannot.
Trainers may remove a post, and may switch off posting for an account. Removal hides a post; it does not edit it and it does not delete the words. Some words are starred out automatically when the post is displayed, and a post containing a slur is held until somebody reads it. What you typed is stored as you typed it either way.
Do not post anything you do not have the right to post, including a customer's personal information or your employer's confidential material.
Your work stays yours
The written answers you submit, the résumé you upload and the picture you choose remain yours. You give us permission to store them, to display them back to you, to have them graded, and to show them to a Rockbeach trainer.
We may use anonymized, aggregated information about how the course is used to improve it. That does not include showing your written answers to anybody outside Rockbeach.
What a certificate means
A certificate says you passed the certification exam at the required mark on a given date. It says nothing else, and it is not a license, a qualification recognized by any authority, or a statement that anybody should hire you.
Certificates carry a code and a public verification page so a third party can confirm one is real. That page shows the holder's name, the score, the issue date and the code.
Messages
We only send account messages if you ask us to. Both consents are off unless you tick them, either can be turned off at any time in your profile, and you can reply STOP to any text. The exact wording you agreed to is stored against your account with the date.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Money
Rockbeach never sees or stores your card. When a paid tier is switched on, payment is handled by Stripe: the card is entered on Stripe's own form, Stripe holds it, and what reaches us is a record that a payment succeeded. Nobody at Rockbeach can read a card number, because we never have one.
An organization can pay by card or ask to be invoiced. An invoice carries the payment terms agreed with it. If an invoice goes unpaid past those terms we may close the administrator's dashboard and stop new seats being issued - we do not take the training away from people who are already using it while a finance department catches up.
Prices and payment terms are set out before anybody is asked to pay. Nothing in this document commits us to any price or any date.
Ending it
You can stop using Rockbeach Training whenever you like. Ask us and we will delete your account and the personal information in it - see the Privacy Policy for what that covers and what it does not.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, that any particular material will remain in it, or that using it will get you a job or an interview.
Written answers are graded automatically. Grading is a judgment made by software and it will sometimes be wrong. A grade is feedback, not an assessment of you.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Rockbeach, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost earnings, or lost opportunity arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may change this document. The version and date are at the top of the page. If a change is material we will say so in the product rather than changing the page quietly.
How acceptance works when an institution adds people to Rockbeach on their behalf is not settled, and we are taking advice on it. Until it is settled this document does not claim that a school's acceptance binds a student the school added.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of New Jersey, United States.
